Tastings are held for orders of 75 people or greater. Tastings
include 3 types of cake and fillings to try to see what
combination you would love. 5 guests maximum. Free
anniversary 6″ cake with all completed weddings one year
later. Please call/email to arrange the free anniversary tier
2 weeks prior.
*tasting is free with the deposit paid at the tasting of $200. A $30 fee is applied to the tasting if a deposit is not accepted at the tasting.
Information needed for the tasting/wedding cake:
Bride/Groom full names and contact information (phone,email, and mailing address)
Reception Location (same as ceremony?)
Wedding Time/Delivery time to reception availability hours?
Reception contact number/email
Guests (inviting and think will show) I usually do the estimate on what you think will show up, but like to be prepared if need to make bigger
Design thoughts. You can send pictures/pinterest links etc. I usually can get an idea of the main things that people like and can design something just for you to be personal.
Topper or flowers on cake desired?
Florist? I have worked with a wonderful and very talented florist named Holly Smith at www.theashleyrose.com who is local to the area. if you still are needing a local florist her contact number is (616) 634-4919. Best availability days for contacting her are Mondays-Wednesdays.
The tasting is free if you book your wedding with a $200 deposit (check please made to New Leaf Pastries). If you do not submit the deposit on the tasting date, the cake tasting is $30 for the booked time. I also offer a you a free 6" replica "topper" for your anniversary. You only need to call me around your anniversary for a free 6", so nobody needs to be concerned with saving the top tier. My portions are larger than most for weddings and I supply all cake in your desired cake (not sheet cakes) decorated to match if you don't desire a 4 tier or larger cake.
